The adventure continues. I've decided on a new term to describe my parenting style. It comes from pondering the term "adventure travel". Travel is travel. Unless you do it differently. With purpose and passion, and direction that leads to a dramatic result. Then, it's "adventure travel". So, what I'm doing with my life is "Adventure mothering." With adventure travel, one may travel to unknown territory to do things that others are not willing or able to do. Parasailing over waterfalls; repelling down cliffs; boating down the amazon. I choose to think of my mothering as something rather similar. I'm certainly attempting something that is difficult and, some may say, impossible. I'm raising Godly children. And I'm excited about it.
